Yangtze Normal University

Something About Company

Established in 1931 along the Wujiang River’s confluence with the Yangtze in Fuling, we’re a research-driven yet teaching-centered institution with 20,000+ students across 20 colleges and 65 undergraduate programs—from education and environmental science to data science and art. Our 1,900-acre campus (1.27 km²) balances modern facilities like smart classrooms and 3D labs with green oases: a 30-acre central lake, cherry blossom gardens, and a riverside “book ferry” reading spot.

With 1,300+ full-time faculty (35% holding PhDs, 40% senior professors), we publish over 500 research papers annually, focusing on Yangtze ecology, rural education, and regional culture. Internationally, 30+ global partnerships (Japan, UK, ASEAN) fuel exchanges: 500+ international students study here yearly, while 200+ YNU students pursue semesters abroad. Our 5 provincial key labs and 5 humanities/social science hubs tackle real-world issues, from eco-friendly agriculture to minority language preservation.
